The yesterday's posting VS2010 - mad helpful error message probably caused a little confusion. I now still don't know exactly who. Me and the readers. So here again, an attempt to explain me.
To judge the reactions by a feature of Visual Studio is not aware of some. I've got some mails because obviously does not want the comment form in IE. :-( ReCaptcha is now turned off and it should also be possible to collect comments from IE. Only too.
So here once more detail what it is exactly about. I guess times me the freedom to quote an email that shows what I mean beautiful.
You understand that what wrong. A startprojekt is a project that opens a window or a console, or eintrittspunkt has a _NICHT_. The startup project is the project that is loaded when you start the debugger.

It has but no eintrittspunkt. There is only one of them, and that should be doable with 210 projects with 3 x scroll. (at least on my monitor approximately 90 projects fit unternander...)

Right-click on a project this can be defined as the startup project. This is then bold highlighted in the Solution Explorer. This is also the rule. Result is then the following (F5).
In this situation I agree that all say it can be but not difficult to find the right project. Even though I have 210 projects. Is true. I give you right.
However, and now comes, but Visual Studio can start more than only A project. But one must know this dialogue.
Right-click on the solution, and then "set startup projects". It means yes already wonderful startup projects.
The following dialog appears.
And here you can define which projects should be started. I have now on all start made. Two consoles, a WPF application and a class library. It can be expected (F5) that the error message comes.
Now not a project is more bold selected in the Solution Explorer. When you start more than one project there are no longer the "fat" project in the Solution Explorer.
And now again. How so is which project cannot be started not told? At the 4 here, it is still easy and furnace probably. With 210 projects, it's not so easy. Above all Nothing can be sorted. I can sort so not all projects that are launched on a pile. # fail
So, I take out the ClassLibrary1 from the main projects.
And now it does. Looks like this.
So once again. Visual Studio can run more than one project at a time. It can debug more than one project. And this is a very valuable feature.
In the current project, we have an own WCF for each engine host. It must be started if you want to test the application. How should the 19 hosts that are implemented in a console to launch now not have this feature? On a batch or so? I want to debug also.

Oh, Yes. These settings are user specific. So if the * *.suo file missing is to make the settings again. And the dialogue is not really Userfreundlich.
