Recently I was finished with the book "effective software architectures". 421 Cutting pages were read without big surprises. I am now since 1999 in computer science and have read and training almost everything once seen what happened in the book. But applying again is another thing. Architect I wouldn't. Also I didn't. But it was very exciting to read. If you can describe such books as exciting.
The two chapters two sample projects were especially good. There, the author has published two architectural documents real projects in abbreviated form. And it was really exciting. I asked myself of all things whether he would have made each comment in a correct document. Sometimes they were properly angriffig on certain stakeholders. It was very amusing to read.
And now I have started with "the pragmatic programmer". Already the introduction was very worth reading the book. It is not easy to stop with the read. I read it at work in my daily hour self-study. As soon the "reading hours" are rarely around. I commend all.
To read this book the idea I came because called again as required reading in many other programming books. According to the motto, everyone who is programming calls must have read this book. I do that now.
