ReSharper - color "highlight current line"

by Roland Schumacher alias GENiALi 5. Dezember 2009 -- 201 words  -- 1 mal gelesen

I'm experimenting around again with tools for Visual Studio. Recently much me the CodeRush of Xpress version in the fingers. Is free and offers, how should be different on some features of the large version.

With Visual Studio 2003, years ago I used ReSharper for some time. So I wanted to test the latest version also.

I invited both down and installed as a trial. I threw the full version of CodeRush right down. It was just too colorful in the IDE. Much too colorful. So I installed then ReSharper 4.5. Is already a much better impression.

What with ReSharper very quickly I like something is highlighting the current row. But with black Visual Studio only dumb looks the original setting.

Current Line in Black Visual Studio

In the settings for the ReSharper but only the "highlight current line" can be switched on. But there you cannot set the colour scheme.

ReSharper Settings

After a short search on the Internet I found the solution but quickly. The setting can be found in the options of Visual Studio. "Environment-> fonts and colors". The element is called ReSharper current line.

Visual Studio Settings

Setting then here what useful it looks good in the IDE.

Highlight current line - Sieht gut aus.

Let's see what else to offer the tool ReSharper has.
