Per license for any mention in the blog

by Roland Schumacher alias GENiALi 8. Oktober 2009 -- 398 words  -- 1 mal gelesen

Anyone like this confuses me. Two days ago I got the following E-mail.

Hi,
I am Patrick Smacchia, a c# MVP.

I am editing a tool for .NET developers: NDepend
NDepend is a static analyzer that simplifies managing complex .NET code base.
See its features here, most of them are truly unique:
http://www.ndepend.com/Features.aspx
I would be glad to offer you a per license. This way you find it can use the tool and buzz it on your blog if you useful.
I just need your address and phone number in order to emit a proper per license.
Regards,
Patrick Smacchia
NDepend lead dev
MVP Visual c#

My first thought was: SPAM

I was looking so Google simply name Patrick Smacchia. I actually found it and it seems indeed to be MVP. But what about NDepend? Some how I never consciously of read or heard, so also investigate times.

When I then saw the price of a pro license I was quite perplexed. Why should I have a pro license worth 300Euro precisely? There are however, many bloggers in the .NET environment have a much better reputation as I. Why so I?

Habs then tried. It was no hour and I got a key and a license file for a pro version of the tool. Wau.

OK. Some are now safely say that the purchased posts are. So what? It involves software development a focus should be on my blog actually. If I would have bought the software officially certainly a posting tool would be surfaced. Regardless of whether I free or not got the license. As long as it concerns the theme of the blog is uploaded. In Visual Studio to do so.

I know still not that exactly what I should do with NDepend. But look closely at I'll definitely.

But to my main problem back. How so? Am I the only one who writes it? Are there other bloggers who get such software licenses?

Oh. I can imagine that it gives that read Microsoft employees. Anyway, that tells me the statistics. :-) I would still be interested in an MSDN subscription. Prefer an MSDN Premium subscription. Then I could finally also test Architecture Edition. :-)

And if someone from JetBrains mitliest. I would also like to take a license for ReSharper. Furthermore there to report also certainly quite a bit. :-)

I look forward to offers. I would allow namely well covered.
