GEBEE - GENiALi's BlogEngine.NET extensions

by Roland Schumacher alias GENiALi 12. August 2009 -- 212 words  -- 0 mal gelesen

Now, I use BlogEngine.NET and not more dasBlog as Blogengine for some time. As the experience now shows the switch to BlogEngine.NET was a good decision.

BlogEngine.NET offers a simple but powerful interface as a developer to create extensions (extensions). In the transition from dasBlog, I had to rewrite some own handicrafts. These have run some time on my blog and so far no problems.

I would like to ask that for the general public now available. Step by step, the extensions for BlogEngine.NET to download will be offered.

Start I wanted integration with the link lift . I had this extension for dasBlog and for BlogEngine.NET. However, I must wait there still a little. This can still take until I get the OK. And if I get it is still in the stars.

So, I had to simply prefer an other extension. The first extension I have published, is GEBEEWordCount. It makes nothing special. Is one of only the words of a posting's and displays them to the desired location.

If you now wonder what GEBEE is. GENiALi's BlogEngine.NET Extension
Is just a gimmick. :-)

On the overview page (Extensions), I will summarize all extensions and describe shortly.

I would like of course feedback and extension proposals. Insofar as it makes my time budget I will implement reasonable proposals.
